EDUCATIONAL EVENTS:
Cameron's presentations about Arabic Musical Scales and Styles have been very enthusiastically received by music school students and teachers.

"Cameron Powers and Kristina Sophia were guest performers on campus for our PeaceWorks concert that featured classical, jazz and world musics on a theme of peacemaking. While in residence he presented a lecture-demonstration on music from the Arabic world for our university music students. Cameron was engaging and informational and provided a broad overview from which to better understand the culture and expressive power of this beautiful music."
